John Montgomery Ward excelled as a pitcher, winning 164 games(47 in 1879). He excelled as a hitter, batting .275 with 2104 hits. He’s the only player to have over 100 wins and over 2000 hits in a career. He  was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1964. When his career was over he excelled as an amateur in the game of golf.

But in the world of the DMB Replay…..not so much. He started and lost 9 games, losing 1 game in extra innings, and losing another game after his infielders dropped consecutive pop ups in the bottom of the 9th. Thankfully for Monte his DMB World Series career has come to an end.

Time to hit the links!!!!
