This is a display poster(only 6 are known to still exist) for the 1887 Allen and Ginter tobacco card set, the 1st nationally distributed card set. It featured not only baseball players, but wrestlers, boxers, rowers, and billiard players. The irrepressible wrestler Matsada Sorakichi is pictured in the middle of the display, just below Annie Oakley, the only female in the set.
