Parker Brothers produced its first baseball game in 1890 with The Professional Game of Base Ball, a simple dice game.
Adonis Terry vs Scott Stratton 10/17/1890, @ Eclipse Park
ADONIS TERRY BEATS PUNCHLESS CYCLONES.
Adonis Terry tossed a 4 hitter and drove in a run with a triple to lead the Bridegrooms down the aisle of victory. With the scored tied at 1 apiece in the 8th, Dave Foutz reached 2nd on a throwing error from shortstop Phil Tomney, and on the very next pitch Romney booted an Oyster Burns ground ball to put runners on the corners with just 1 out. Darby O’Brien singled in Foutz with the game winning run, and a Pinkney fly ball scored Burns with an insurance run.

A baseball blog asking the question:
What if?
What if the World Series was played in the 19th Century? What if they played the World Series in 1904? What if the 1919 White Stockings played to win? These answers and more will be found on this blog. It's not time travel, but it's the next best thing.
Email me at keving1701 @gmail.com I'd love to hear from you.
